Today, OES is scaling into multifamily and mixed-use development — including The Summit at Mine Hill, a 296-unit Class A community in Morris County, and a 25-townhome mixed-use project in Randolph. Okan Esendemir
Okan Esendemir is the son of immigrants who came to the U.S. with very little and built a life through hard work and consistency. That mindset stuck with him early on and continues to shape how he operates today.
Before moving into real estate, Okan spent over 20 years in operations, most recently as an Operations Manager at Legrand North America, a Fortune 500 manufacturer. There, he led a team of more than 100 people and drove millions in efficiency gains as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. The experience gave him a strong foundation in systems, execution, and managing complexity at scale.
He founded OES Properties in 2019, bringing that same operational discipline into real estate. Since then, the firm has completed over $50 million in transactions across Northern and Central New Jersey, including renovations, multi-unit conversions, and ground-up development.
OES currently has several active projects underway. In Randolph Township, the firm is developing a mixed-use community with 25 townhomes, retail, and apartments, with a total development value exceeding $25 million. In Mine Hill, OES is behind The Summit, a 296-unit multifamily development with a projected value of over $70 million.
